What is the value of a communication graduate in society? A communication graduate helps by understanding meaning, connection, and information. A communication graduate is very good at critical thinking and listening.

What is the Value of an Umbrella department? An umbrella department brings things together and helps us understand all different levels of communication from relationships to media. 

I am a positive representation of our department because I am someone who is not afraid to take risk and will always go big. I am able to utilize the skills this department has taught me in my everyday life already by creating more positive interactions with others, being able to establish common ground with almost anyone, and also high critical thinking and problem solving skills due to what I have learned in this department.
